Seemed like a good idea at the time

Getting up at 3:30 this morning to go outside and look for meteors seemed like a great, adventurous idea at the time. At 9:20 am and looking back, that early morning decision sure was stupid. My eyelids are going into business for themselves and trying to close shop. MORE COFFEE!!!

    Did you actually see anything? Maggie woke up at about 3am. I considered waking John up so we could check out the shower, but decided to go back to sleep instead. I figured if she wakes us up tonight, we'll go out then.

    I saw a few, but the moon was so stinkin' bright I couldn't see as much as I hoped. I'm going to try again tonite around midnite if I can stay awake long enough. The moon should be low enough in the sky and maybe it will be easier to see something.
