Bachelorette Party

Megan is having a bachelorette party for her friend, Bree, at our house tonite.  The dining table is decorated.  If you look closely, you will notice something, um... unique about the straws.  Not sure where my daughter gets these ideas. 

I will let Megan tell you about the games they are going to play at the party.  Let's just say there is a sculpting game using Play Doh to see who can sculpt the best... um... "straw." 

Debbie and I are going out for the evening.  I'm skeered of what I will find laying around the house when I get home.  hee hee

Back is better

Feeling better.  Debbie has a stimulator like the chiropractor uses.  Four wires attached to your back and the device shocks you.  Kinda freaky but it helped.  I can walk alot easier this morning.  Will use it again tonight.  Will definitely stay away from trenches today.  yikes.  That was not fun.

Construction site and bad back do not mix

Had to visit a job site this morning.  My back is not any better and it is difficult to walk because I cannot take big strides.  Anyway, walking around on the site and had to walk next to a shallow trench.  The ground is uneven and the edge of the trench caved in just as I put my foot down to take another step.  I slipped into the trench.  Even if no one saw me, I drew attention to myself yelling out a curse word.  Not a fun morning so far.  And I have to visit another site later this morning.  dang.

Numb lip

Had some dental work this afternoon.  Back at the office and trying to talk.  My upper lip is numb and I can't say some words.  Tried to answer the phone and say, "Trumble Dean, this is Roy."  I know that's what I said but I think it sounded like, "Dumble Dean, dib ib Loy."   Tried to suck tea through a straw and tea squirted sideways from between my lips.  Fun.
