Funny how some things just kinda happen
As some of you know, I started the ancestry.com stuff to research my family and Debbie's family trees. I received an email from Donald Walter in Texas. Donald is related to the Wojahns. His great-grandfather is August Wojahn, who is Eldo's grandfather. I believe that makes Donald a first cousin of Eleanor, Mona and Sandra. My guzzintas might be wrong, but I believe that is the correct lineage. Anyway, he just sent a copy of his family tree. I need to dig through it and see what it contains. Interesting how out of the blue something just happened like that.
TGIF
I kinda know how this dog feels. Trying to shake it off, too.
Efforting to be like this by the end of the day. Debbie and I are going to see what kind of antiques we can find in Ft. Smith.
Halloween is a month away. Do you have your costume picked out?
Remembering the days when we carved a pumpkin.
Gotta go to a job site and help the architect fix someone else's mess.
Stay cool everybody.

You will take 3 and like it
I stopped at Taco Bueno for lunch. Went through the drive-thru. Ordered six crispy tacos and a drink. Busy drive-thru. The woman in the car in front of me must have ordered for the entire Walton family because it took her forever to place the order and they handed four large bags of food to her through the drive-thru window. So much for "fast" food. Anyway, I finally arrived at the window, gave the nice lady my $10.14. She gave me a bag of food and my drink. I drove back to the office and discovered three crispy tacos. I guess when you order more than three, you ain't gonna get them because the sign says combo #8 is three tacos and a drink. Not six tacos and a drink.
Update: Tara pointed out that $10.14 is alot for three tacos and a drink. So, I looked at the ticket again. Sure enough, they charged me for six tacos, but I did not check the bag before I left the drive-thru. So, it is all my fault. dangit. A nice rant ruined by the facts.
Have a better day.

Dallas Zoo
Debbie and I went to Greenville last weekend and had a great time. As usual. We spent Saturday at the Dallas zoo then went back to Tara's to watch the OSU game against Tulsa. A game that did not start until around midnite. One of John's coworkers came over to watch the game. Steven and Heather stayed as long as they could. I think they left about 30 minutes before the game started. Anyway, here are some photos from the zoo.
Giant giraffe statue at the zoo entrance.
Walking in.
Always read the fine print.
Lots of people feeding the giraffes.
John bought some lettuce so the kids could feed the giraffe.
Evie and Maggie feeding the giraffe.
Jeffrey getting a sip of water.
Chester did not have any Cheetos.
Checking out Poomba Junior.
Tara's friend, Shawna, and her family were at the zoo, also. Tara, Shawna and her mother are watching the kids play on the elephant statues. Shawna's little girl is on the small elephant statue.
Nana lending a lap.
Debbie searched all over the place for a Coca Cola cooler and there is one on the Rover!
Oliver checking out the zoo map.
Shawna's daugher and Evie.
Wonder if she said, "Yes"?
Jertle the Turtle
We went into the aviary to feed the birds. One of the birds was pilfering a woman's purse.
The birds are very tame.
The bird was on Tara's head just before I took the photo.
My favorite animal.
Mountain lion checking out Evie and Maggie.
Leaving the zoo.
