Deb and I went to Tara's this last weekend. We left work in OKC early and got there just about dusk. The kids were still up and luckily, not too tired cuz we had to start rasslin'! Saturday started early as usual with the kids getting up early. Debbie bought some birthday gifts for Oliver and we took them with us to give to him. One of the gifts is a Super-fun Marble Run game. Lots of plastic pieces that you stack together like a maze and roll marbles through the maze. Kinda like a cross between Legos and Lincoln Logs. We unpacked 363 pieces, 30 marbles and John started building. By the end of the day, he had used almost all of the pieces to build a maze taller than the kids. They had to stand on a stool to put marbles in parts of it. Pretty cool. John might like it more than Oliver!
Unpacking and the assembly is beginning.
Input from Maggie and Oliver.
Everyone is adding stuff. This is the first big maze.
After we got home from the antique stores and pool party, John created another maze. He added a few more pieces after I took this photo. Some of the towers were so tall the kids needed a stool to put the marbles into the orange funnels.
This is all that remained of the 363 pieces. Pretty cool!
I bet John and Tara will hear marbles running through that maze forever. hee hee hee
