Megan made it home late last nite. Debbie and I picked her up at the OKC airport. Since Megan's flight did not arrive until 9 pm, Debbie and I stayed at a hotel not far from the airport. We didn't want toget home late and then get up early to go back to OKC. We hung out at the hotel until it was time to get Megan. I was tracking her flight from Dallas and we left when it appeared that the plane was still between OKC and Dallas. As we were driving up to the airport terminal, Megan called and said she was waiting for her luggage. Apparently, the "real time" flight tracker is nowhere close to "real time". Anyway, it turned out good because I parked just outside the door of the baggage claim area so Megan didn't have to walk too far to meet us. Sounds like she had a good time. She had to drive home by herself because she has an organic science class at 7:30 am on Monday morning. yikes. I thought the seismic design class at 7:30 in the morning was bad. Not sure how she pulled it off, but Debbie said she never had any 7:30 am classes. I had a bunch of engineering and math courses at 7:30. Something wrong about that.
Debbie and I tried a new restaurant last nite. Kona Ranch steakhouse. Debbie tried their prime rib and I got grilled salmon. Good meals. There was a notice in the menu that the steaks had the Nolan Ryan guarantee of tenderness. Not sure what that's about. Need to do some research and see if Nolan Ryan owns the restaurant or provides the beef.
Have a good day.
