Yamato Japanese Steak House
Last nite, Debbie and I went to a hibachi restaurant for dinner. We wanted to find a new place to eat. Did not know this was a hibachi bar until we went inside. Anyway, turned out to be a good restaurant. There was another couple at the other end of the bar. The cook repeated their order to them and then with Debbie. She ordered steak and chicken. He looked at me and said, "Macaroni and cheese?" LOL. I really ordered steak and shrimp. The cook did all the usual stuff. He made some butter fly which is always a hoot for some reason. Dunno why it's so funny to watch a guy toss a big gob of butter in the air and say, "Look. Butterfly!". hee hee. He flipped the bowl of fried rice while he was handing it to me. Made the onion volcano. That's not a photo from last nite. I got that off of the www. Anyway, the cook used his spatula to flip the pepper shaker into his hat. Had to try that one twice, tho. Pretty funny how those guys are flipping eggs in the air and making it land on the edge of the spatula to crack the egg open. They are always tapping their spatula or fork on the bar. As he was cleaning up, he had a large plastic bottle. He asked if I wanted ketchup. I said no. He then asked if I wanted some special sauce and pointed the bottle at me. He squeezed the bottle and a piece of string shot out. I jumped and he laughed. LOL. Cool stuff. Great food. Decent price. Definitely going back.

Those places are so fun. We haven't been to one since last year for John's 30th. All the theatrics freaked Maggie out.
As we were finishing our meal, a cook started at the next table. There was a girl about 8 or so getting freaked out by the big fire the guy was making. She got out of her chair and hid behind her mom.
