On again, off again.

Poor Megan.  She got a job as a physical therapy technician at a company in Oklahoma City.  It was a part time job until Monday, when they hired her full time.  On Tuesday morning, they told her they could not make her a full time person because of budget issues.  That should be a big emotional swing for her, but she seems to be taking it ok.  There is a diet technician position open at one of the OKC hospitals.  It is a full time job with hours that might allow her to keep working part time at the PT tech job, too.  Hope that works out for her.  She due for something good to happen job-wise.

Megan has been riding with Deb and me until her apartment is ready to move into in Edmond in a couple of weeks.  I've been trying to find routes to get from Megan's job in NW OKC to Debbie's job south of downtown OKC.  There is a bunch of construction on I-40 south of downtown OKC, so some of the roads are blocked off and you cannot go from I-40 directly to Deb's office.  There are only four ways to go, and during rush hour two of those arteries are clogged with cars.  So, I used one of the routes along Agnew, which goes through the stockyards.  That wasn't the best way to go because of all the stop lights.  With the I-40 construction, the Agnew exit is not clearly marked with the big green highway signs that normally are all over the place indicating the exit location.  Now, there is a small orange sign that you cannot see until you are almost on top of it.  Tuesday afternoon, I figured out that I can go a mile east of Agnew and use a better route to Deb's office.  Yesterday, Deb and I passed the Agnew exit after dropping Megan at her job.  As we passed the Agnew exit, I told Debbie, "Now that I know where that is I don't need to know anymore."  She thought that was funny.  Sounded logical to me.  hee hee.

Hope everyone has a good day.
