Things we see on the road

A few weeks ago, Debbie and I saw an odd vehicle travelling down the street not far from her office.  Well, the vehicle really was not as odd as it was highly decorated in an odd way.  The travel trailer and pickup truck were decorated with just about as many sports objects as a person could somehow attach to the trailer and truck.  Debbie tried to take several photos, but it seemed that the driver noticed the camera and slowed down quickly.  Debbie managed to get a few good photos of the contraption.  As we passed the truck, she said the interior of the truck was crammed with other sports objects.  We have no idea where the guy was going or where he went after we saw him.

Over the last month or so, sunflowers have bloomed everywhere. It is almost like we are in Kansas.  I do not recall ever seeing so many sunflowers.  They are along the highways and city streets.  There are a few places along I-35 where the sunflowers are growing in the median.  Some of the sunflowers are several feet tall.  Along one of the streets where we travel between I-35 and Debbie's office, we pass under the railroad.  I took this photo of some sunflowers that are easily 10 feet tall.  They are kind of pretty in the early morning sunlight.
