Debbie and I walked and drove around the historic district of Savannah. The variety of architecture was amazing. Some of the buildings are over 200 years old along the river. Here are a few of the photos that we took. Hope you enjoy them.
One of the buildings was the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. It looks like what I would expect to see in the Gothic cathedrals in Europe. Construct of the cathedral started in 1873. The final spires were finished in 1896.
