We had a really nice weekend. Sunshine. Not too cool. Good for parades and football games. Should have gone outside and looked at the stars while I had a chance, but didn't. Early Wednesday morning was supposed to be good for meteor shower viewing. Guess what? Clouds. Dangit.
Debbie is working at the Crossroads Mall office now. Actually, her office is not in the mall but across the street next door to Toys R Us. I know that really helps everyone understand where the office is located, right? LOL. She's not really in the mall is my point. Anyway, DHS decided to consolidate all of the long-term care units spread out around the OKC metro into one office. I think Debbie said all of the units are now in the Crossroads office. That office has an alternative work schedule where she can work 9 hour days for 8 days and one 8 hour day to get every other Friday off. That's pretty cool. We have to get up early enough to get her to work by 7:30 every morning instead of 8 am. Working out good so far. Allows us to miss most of the crazy morning traffic and I can get into the office earlier, too.
Kelsey took the grumpy old-man cat, Jake, to the vet yesterday morning. He's had a patch of raw skin under his neck for a while. Debbie and Kelsey, mostly Kelsey, has tried to put meds on it for a while. Jake mostly ain't having none of that stuff. He was under the dining table the other nite hissing at Kelsey while she was trying to put meds on his neck using a cotton ball. LOL. At least he stopped hissing at me for a minute. hee hee. Vet said Jake had a "hot spot". Whatever that means. Gave him a shot, antibiotics and some meds Kelsey needs to apply to help it heal up.
Couple of days til we go to Greenville for the Evie and Maggie birthday party. Should be fun!
Have a good day.
