Yesterday had both good and bad stuff happening. Debbie and I got up at 7 a.m. and cleaned the carpets. Finished that by about 8:30. During that time, Debbie's cough started to return as did the sinus congestion and runny nose. What is this crap that is kicking her butt? She has been fighting something for a month. A week ago, she missed work because she had a fever with congestion, runny nose and a cough. She went to the doc that day. The doc gave her antibiotics but nothing for the congestion. Last Saturday and Sunday, she could hardly breath without coughing. I bought some Robitussin cough suppresant, which knocked her out Sunday morning. It helped for a couple of hours before the cough started again. On Monday, she had a horrible day at work with a couple of coughing attacks that lasted for quite a while. I think she spent about two hours in the women's restroom coughing between the two coughing attacks. I picked her up not long after lunch because she just finally gave up trying to work. Between the coughing attacks, she was fine. As the week went on, she got better each day. Her cough was pretty much gone by Friday. But by yesterday afternoon, the cough was back as bad as it was last weekend. She's not running a fever at all. Wonder if she had pneumonia? Is that even possible without having a fever?
We went to the chiropractor yesterday after cleaning the carpet. After that, we went to OKC to a couple of antique stores. Deb bought some vinyl records. We drove past the Pops convenience store in Arcadia. That thing is kinda gaudy. Ridiculous canopy, but cool at the same time. Not sure how that architect convinces people to do some of the stuff he does. I say that as my partner, Russell, is working on a six-story office building designed by that same architect. The office building is definitely not a box. Driving Russ crazy. hee hee.
Today's sunrise was awesome.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
